For many this has a feel of freshness, rife with possibilities and wonder as to what will come next. For some it is a time to make resolutions. For others they let it go without a second thought.
Which one are you?
Happy to be happy!
Are you looking for a change, something new to come your way? Why not be the person who makes that happen for you this year? Are you content with the way things are, happy to just be happy?
The old energy has gone and let's face it, sometimes by the end of the year it feels like you have no energy to give to anything. Christmas with all its beauty and joy is still a time of stress, with present buying, shopping and trying to park at the mall, family gatherings and worry about all kinds of things. So when it is done your energy needs to replenish itself.
It feels wonderful when your energy replenishes itself!
And for some reason the beginning of a new year feels exactly that way. It is new, shiny, full of what if's and seems to start your energy all over again.
A new job? A new place? A new car? A new way of life?
Buy a cat!
The possibilities are endless. Just allow your heart to show you the way and it can happen.
Set yourself some goals. Strive to reach them, bit by bit and a piece at a time will get you to where you want to be. Give yourself permission to let it happen.
Take some classes. Go for a walk. Buy a cat or dog. Find new love. It is all out there waiting for you.
Paint the kitchen, remove that old flower bed. Clean out the garage. Join a sports team. Save some money and take that trip.
Take a trip somewhere!
Plan and go somewhere once a month that costs very little. Drive up the coast. Drive down the coast. Drive inland on the Cunningham Highway - it is beautiful and usually not too busy.
How about volunteering? Do you have some skills that would prove valuable for someone in need? Be of service to someone, be it a group or an individual.
I wish you lots of luck and love in your new endeavours. There is nothing like the energy of a new year to make it all seem possible.
I just found this, at 1.04AM, 1/1/17! I did volunteer, for 22 years & 2 months to the day! We travel from Sydney NSW to Melbourne Vic, 4/5 times a year, & try & have 1 cruise. We are looking forward to going to Bali, in early August, for a nephews wedding, & then there's the various lunches I go to with my friends, & visiting my in-laws, up the central coast, & going to art galleries. I'm looking forward to my mother's 96th birthday in November, & looking forward to our youngest daughter letting us know she's pregnant (at last).
