For about 3 years now this has become quite apparent to me, that what I say becomes. The universe seems to be guiding me through a series of steps that have been leading me to the place I am now.
Believe it is possible!
I was infamous, growing up, for berating myself, stupid, ugly, never good enough, all unkind things that I would never say to someone else. Looking back I can't believe how I treated myself so harshly. I truly was my own worst enemy.
There have been a series of others who have come through my life, some still here, some that were only fleeting, but all have had words to say on this subject.
Watch your words, be careful how you say things. And they are all right. You can damage your self esteem so easily by being hurtful to yourself.
If you want to be a kind, loving person, you can achieve this. If you want to be your own best friend, you can achieve this. The sky is the limit.
The sky is the limit to what you can achieve!
What is in a positive affirmation? Give it a go and see. In Louise Hay's book, "You Can Heal Your Life", there are literally hundreds of them to get you through on a daily basis.
Everywhere you look, you will see positive affirmations, all encouraging us to change the way we think, the way we look at things, the way life can be.
Wonderful, positive, words!
We recently had the shortest day of the year, but it came to my attention that it was the longest night, perfect if you are a late night party person. I love hearing it put this way with such a positive spin. Positive words bring about positive change.
Start planting the seeds!
"I am" is an acknowledgement of your being. Now if you add to that "I am loving, loveable, kind, happy!" this eventually comes to be how you see yourself.
Be loving to yourself!
I began a few years ago looking in my mirror and am now pleased to see myself there. Why not? We all have to spend our whole lives with our selves, why not love who we are? Why not love and be the best that we can be? Berating yourself only hurts. Give yourself kindness by how you talk to yourself, see the changes that occur.
Now this took me a while, at first it seemed silly, but I have to admit it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
Put a positive spin on everything you do. Daily affirmations are such a bonus, adding to and enhancing our lives, confirming that we are alive and well and living in our bodies.
I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful to have readers who like to read what I enjoy writing. I am grateful for all of those who have come into my life to bring me to a more positive, loving place and I am going to help others by passing this on.
Speak kindly about yourself, watch your words and see what happens!
I really enjoyed reading this article, thank you. One of my positive affirmations is "I walk with grace" - which has changed, because I used to be mean to myself and say "I am clumsy". Now I feel like I am walking on air, not slogging through mud.
