Once upon a time the very best scientific minds of the day were 100% certain that our world was flat.
Once upon a time the best and brightest that planet Earth had to offer, knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the sun (and the rest of the universe) revolved around the Earth.
Flight was thought impossible. Man walking on the moon was deemed fanciful. When Marconi first announced that he was going to send a message through the airwaves as a radio signal, he was thrown in an insane asylum.
Despite the fact that time and time and time again, science has been proven to be spectacularly wrong, some folks still insist on putting all their faith (and therefore the results of their lives) into that, and only that, which can be proven by science.
When science is limited to the extent of the current technological advances, and when technology is growing at an extraordinary rate... does it not make sense to suspend all definitive judgements and perhaps keep an open mind, and more importantly... an open heart, to the possibility of something greater.
Only 2% of the world's population label themselves as atheist. That means that 98% of the 7 Billion souls on this planet believe in some form of higher intelligence. Despite there being not one shred of scientific evidence to support the existence of God... Billions still place their faith in such a thing.
And I am one of them.
...and so much more beautiful
My definition of "God" might wildly differ from that of most, and most definitely differ from that of traditional organised religion. But I would never be so arrogant as to believe that only that which can be proven by science exists. We currently only utilise between 5 and 10% of our own brains capacity.... what in the world makes anyone think that we already have all the answers.
There is SO much possibility out there.
SO much yet to be discovered and uncovered.
And one of the things that I personally believe is being completely under-utilised and misunderstood by the masses is the power of our own thoughts to control our destiny.
But science is catching up.
refuse to be small minded
From the study of Epigenetics, to quantum scientific discoveries of the Field and the nature of reality... we are on the threshold of beginning to understand what the spiritual masters have known for millennium.
All great discoveries in science were achieved through keeping an open mind. From openly admitting that we don't have all the answers and being brave enough to ask the tough questions, even in the face of fierce opposition.
If you really want to make a difference in your own life and the lives of others... Keep an open mind. Keep an open heart. And whatever you do... don't fall pray to the trap of only believing in what our limited scientific minds can currently confirm. There is SO much more to the story than that.
