All free, and all easily available to you when you need that extra little push to get out of the front door and take on the world. This time itís Tim Minchinís Occasional Address.
In 2013, pianist and comedian Tim Minchin was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Western Australia, where he previously studied for an Arts degree. He was invited to give the Occasional Address at that yearís graduation ceremony, and what followed was a touching and irreverent reflection on learning, collaboration and achievement.
In his words, ĎYou might find some of this stuff inspiring, you will find some of it boring, and you will definitely forget all of it within a week.í Inspiring? Absolutely. Forgettable? Definitely not. Iíve listened to this speech many times over the years, and each time I hear it I feel a renewed sense of determination and purpose.
