There is a whole, big, wide world out there for you to explore.
And I'm not just talking about geography, although that is pretty exciting and special as well... I'm talking about the whole world of possibilities. A world of information, or diversity of thought. Of philosophies, opinions, ideas. We are living in the information age when absolutely anyone has access to information on almost every conceivable topic.
I'm a pretty opinionated person, I'll admit that. I have thoughts about most subjects. But I hope I have never been so arrogant as to think that I know all there is to know on any one topic, let alone all of them. There is always more to know, more to understand. I love hearing what other people think. Better still when someone actually changes my mind by introducing me to a concept that perhaps I hadn't thought of before. Being proven "wrong" or having your mind changed, isn't a bad thing.. it's a liberating thing. It means that you can accept change. That you are open and flexible and willing to grow and to learn.
I have read a great deal of material over the years and I just wish I had more time to read more. There is just SO much out there to learn. Some worth learning. Some, if only for having the experience of it, then moving on. But my greatest fear for people is that they will remain stuck in what they believe, for fear of ever expanding their minds. Or worse still... because they believe that what they already know is the absolute and could never be different. Please don't ever close yourself off to the infinite possibilities this life offers. Seriously... get out there and learn...experience... grow. It is, after all, why we are here.
