I am an immigrant to Australia from Rome, Italy. My mother, grandmother and myself moved to Adelaide in 1975 when I was ten. In 1977 we moved again to Sydney but I vowed to return to Adelaide and did so in 2008. My love of writing has been a constant, but once I learned to speak English, this powerful and multifaceted language became my passion. My writing mirrors a surreal, albeit difficult life.
