People engage in hookups and casual encounters yet feel bad when they don't get the relationship they want.

Everyone wants to be understood and no one wants to be the one who understands.

It's easy to vent out our frustrations and complain to other people, but it's hard to lend an ear or pay attention to those who are suffering more than us.

The world is so big. There are so many things to learn, people to help, worthwhile activities to engage in and places to explore. Still, many of us feel lonely, bored or inadequate.

We can't seem to think beyond the box of our own emotions. We want to feel better then and there yet we don't want to go through the long and arduous process of healing and moving forward.

Human inconsistencies are so glaring. The self always takes center age though we try to project an image of selflessness.

Aren't we just making our own problems? But because we do not want to be responsible for the problems we created for ourselves, we yearn for others to rescue us and clean up our mess.

To everyone living so haphazardly, please be reminded that no one can fill the void in your heart except for yourself. Others may try to break you, but whether or not you're broken is your choice. The odds may be against you, but you won't be a goner until you say so.

More than anything, your happiness should not depend on other people. They too are seeking their own happiness. Humans are not band aids. You cannot use a living person to patch up your wounds or get superficial satisfaction.

Never blame anyone. There is no need to complain. Do not let other people answer for you.

Stand upright and move forward! Your life is your responsibility.
