As we edge towards autumn, the commute, the weather and going into the office every day feels that bit more dull.
Before the gloomy winter months return, take the chance to live for the moment, get out and do something exciting. Being more spontaneous is exactly what a friend suggested when I was feeling a little low.
She said I was lucky to be alive considering what had happened to me at birth. I said it was a bit of a stretch to consider what happened to me was 24 years ago now, but she had a point - embrace the now and life is a whole lot more fun.
She suggested I make every drink a toast to life, and whilst I think she's being a little excessive, I get her point.
Embracing the now makes that evening out with friends, or a cosy evening in with your housemates, or that casual catch up with work colleagues even more enjoyable because it is a wonderful part of life.
Try embracing the now and see how it makes you feel.
