If you are like me, you grew up independent, at least that was the way if felt and carried through most of my life, until about a year and a half ago. I never thought anything of this because it had been that way for so long.
Then I started my own business, for the second time. And how is that going, people will ask me. What can I say?
For some this is a piece of cake, they decide to do something and they just go and do it. It's easy they say and for them, it is.
To be honest, I cringe when people say - it is easy. I don't find it easy at all. I am not as outgoing as I thought I was and the mere thought of having to approach people, put myself out there and ask for things is as difficult as crossing a pit of vipers.

Sometimes we just need to slow down and look!
Life, however, is a learning process and if you give yourself full credit for the things that you can do, and learn from the others what you need, know that you are amazing and will go far.
I have spent way too much time doing my own thing and have avoided looking at the hurt of it all. After healing some of my personal issues I realize that it is ok to let others assist me. They are not only helping, which we all need at times, but they feel respected as well and it is not a sign of weakness on my part. If you throw off some of the old beliefs that you carry, you too can demonstrate love to others and to yourself, and learn in the process.

Flock together and see what you come up with!
I had the privilege a while ago of being part of a group, all of us involved in the healing and wellbeing modalities, living positively, finding the way to make changes and let go of what no longer serves. Our lovely leader brought us all together, and we shared with 20 others a cleansing, healing, positive experience that will carry with us and others for a long time to come.
I truly feel like I belong in this group of individuals who are all looking to be heard, seen and appreciated for the differences that they bring to unite people within the healing realm. There were no judgements, and all were kind and open, sharing and caring as well.

To feel like you belong is so freeing!
I feel loved and accepted for what I bring to the table and know that my business can carry forward and grow because I am now willing to be open to learning and growing myself.
To heal old beliefs and fears allows us to realize we are not an island, can work with others to a common goal and assist those who need our help, collectively and individually.

To quote Dr Seuss - Oh the places you'll go!
Know that you don't have to be alone if there is something you want to do, for you can find a path or a group that can help you thrive.
