I heard of a wonderful game to play the other day for when you feel down, or depressed, or angry, or anything negative that you don't want to be feeling.
It's very important to be able to shift those feelings into something much more positive whenever possible. It's Ok to feel down now and then, and very natural, but it's not a place you want to take up residence, if you know what I mean.
So what to do?
Firstly just ask yourself... "What do you love?"
It might be your children, your pets, chocolate, the feel of cool grass under bare feet. It can be anything that brings you a feeling of joy. And then ask yourself... and what else? Name something else. A hot bubble bath, hiking in nature, the smell of a flower. And then ask yourself.... and what else?
And keep asking until you have named everything that you can think of that makes you happy.
It's very difficult to be angry, or down, or depressed and filled with love and joy at the same time. So keep asking yourself "what do you love?.... and what else?" And ask it until you see just how much joy and happiness and how much there truly is to be grateful for in your life.
And before you know it you will have shifted your energy from negativity to pure joy!!!
